Bloom Spokane
Growing a Better Birth Community
Our mission is to improve the quality of maternity care in Spokane, WA by supporting and educating local childbearing families and health care professionals.Bloom Spokane promotes mother-friendly maternity care, encourages informed health care decisions, and strives to improve our community’s birth culture.

Our Programs
Bloom Spokane’s public outreach programs are designed to provide expectant families and the community with information about evidence-based maternity care and available childbirth options. We also host a birth forum where doctors, midwives and other professionals can work together to improve maternity care services for all women. As our organization grows, we look forward to expanding the programs and services offered to the community.

It’s Your Birth. Know All Your Options.
Women, their partners and families are encouraged to attend our free educational class early in pregnancy or even prior to conception, as this is the optimal time for learning about selecting caregivers, choosing a birth environment that feels safe and identifying the personal preferences and beliefs that will inform your birth choices. Classes are held on the first Thursday of every month.
